Hulme secures Bronze in European Juniors

James Hulme secured a 3rd place finish in the men’s Final in Drzonkow as the GB team took on the 2025 European Junior Championships.

Hulme followed up his impressive World Cup performance from Budapest earlier this spring by claiming a podium finish at the European Juniors, securing a hard-fought bronze medal in the men’s final.

In the women’s competition, Chloe Johnson impressed with a determined performance, finishing sixth in the final. She was joined by Eva Marsh, who showcased her perseverance and abilities throughout the qualification rounds to earn her spot in the final. Their combined scores, along with Poppy Clark’s efforts in the semi-final, placed the women’s team in seventh position in the overall standings. Gina Speakman joined Johnson, Marsh and Clark in the semi-finals making it all four British women achieving a semi-final berth.

The men’s team also delivered a strong performance, with Reuben Cawley, Dylan Robbins and Freddie Barlow contributing solid qualification performances. Cawley and Robins’ efforts, combined with Hulme’s third-place finish, secured a top-10 team ranking in the men’s competition.

This squad will be looking to build further on their performances in the coming weeks ahead of the Junior World Championships in Hungary.
