Diana Hunter, the Chair of Pentathlon GB will be stepping down from her role later in 2025 to assume a new position as the Chair of British Rowing on August 1st.

Diana joined the board of Pentathlon GB in 2022 and has been central to improvements in financial management, governance practices, and our relationships with our funding partners, our volunteers and our stakeholders to ensure ongoing support for Pentathlon GB both within the UK and internationally.

Pentathlon GB would like to thank Diana for her leadership as Chair and the support she has shown to athletes, the broader organisation and the Pentathlon community.

Commenting on her departure Diana said:

“It has been a privilege to work with Will and Jamie, the Board, our athletes, staff and our volunteers and members. The family of sports and the community that participates in our sports provide opportunities for people of all ages to find a sport they love and enjoy at any level, I would like to thank everyone who has been part of creating such a vibrant organisation”

Will Brown, Pentathlon GB CEO said:

“All of us at Pentathlon GB will be very sad to see Diana leave the organisation but she does so having created real momentum for the sport both at home and internationally. There’s no doubt she’s been a hugely positive force for the sport and all of us involved in it and we wish her all the best for her new role at British Rowing.”

The process of recruiting a new Pentathlon GB Chair will start shortly and Diana will stay in the role until such a time as the recruitment process is completed.
