Pentathlon GB continued its 2026 campaign at the UIPM Pentathlon World Cup 2 in Pazardzhik, with athletes competing across both the women’s and men’s competitions against a strong international field.
Kerenza Bryson and Charlie Follett led the way for Pentathlon GB in the women’s competition, with both athletes progressing through to the Women’s Final following solid performances across qualification and semi-final rounds. Competing in her first major international event since the Paris Olympic Games and her first at World Cup level under the new OCR format, Bryson returned to action with a fourth-place finish, while Follett also secured her place in the final after progressing through the earlier rounds in Bulgaria.
Elsewhere in the women’s competition, Olivia Green progressed to the semi-finals, while Natalie Hatfield and Poppy Clark both competed in the qualification rounds as part of the Pentathlon GB squad in Pazardzhik.
In the men’s competition, Charlie Brown and Ross Charlton both advanced to the semi-finals after progressing through qualification, with Sam Cobb also in action during the men’s competition.
With athletes reaching the latter stages across both competitions, World Cup 2 provided another opportunity for Pentathlon GB athletes to compete against international opposition as the 2026 season continues.
