Pentathlon GB concluded its 2026 World Championships campaign in Guiyang, China, with British athletes securing three medals across the relay, individual and team competitions.
There was early success in the Men’s Relay, where Ross Charlton and Sebastian Forrest were claimed the Men’s Relay world title after combining to secure gold for Great Britain.
Attention then turned to the women’s competition, where Kerenza Bryson, Emma Whitaker and Poppy Clark all progressed through the earlier rounds to secure places in the Women’s Final.
Bryson went on to claim bronze in the Women’s Final, securing an individual gold medal, while the combined performances of Bryson, Whitaker and Clark also earned Great Britain bronze in the Women’s Team competition.
The results rounded off a successful World Championships for Pentathlon GB, with British athletes delivering on the big stage.
