Pentathlon GB concluded its UIPM Pentathlon U19 World Championships campaign in Madrid, Spain, with British athletes securing a silver medal and reaching both the Men’s and Women’s individual finals.
Jemima Chetwood and Daisy Hassell combined to claim silver in the Women’s Relay, finishing second for Great Britain and securing a place on the World Championship podium.
Chetwood and Hassell also progressed through the individual competition to earn places in the Women’s Final, adding to a strong Championships for the British pair.
There was also British representation in the Men’s Final, with Oliver Stenhouse and Reuben Cawley both progressing through the competition to secure their places among the finalists.
With Women’s Relay silver and four British athletes reaching the individual finals, the U19 World Championships provided plenty of positives for Pentathlon GB in Madrid.
