Top 8 Final performance for Hulme in debut World Cup

In an impressive debut at a Pentathlon World Cup event, James Hulme earned a top 8 spot amongst a highly competitive men’s competition in April, in Budapest. Hulme’s performance was a highlight for the team, with strong performances throughout the qualification round and semi-final leading into his finals achievement.

Emma Whitaker also delivered a commendable performance, again securing a top 12 finish. Her consistency and determination were evident throughout the competition, earning her a well-deserved spot among the top contenders.

Charlie Brown advanced to the semi-finals, showcasing resilience and skill throughout the competition, whilst the women’s contingent of Natalie Hatfield, Charlie Follett, and Eva Marsh continued to gain valuable competition experience within the new Pentathlon format.

The team is now looking forward to continuing their 2025 competition season in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria in early May.
