Pentathlon GB is pleased to announce that the UIPM Global Laser Run City Tour will be coming to Liverpool on 20–21 September 2026.
Taking place at the iconic Pier Head waterfront, the two-day event will bring Laser Run to one of the UK’s most recognisable sporting locations, offering opportunities for both competition and participation.
Sunday 20 September will feature a dedicated Laser Run competition for Pentathlon GB members, providing the final major domestic racing opportunity ahead of the UIPM World Laser Run Championships in Madeira. Athletes will be able to compete individually or as part of a relay team against the backdrop of Liverpool’s famous waterfront.
On Monday 21 September, the venue will host a schools and youth participation day, introducing hundreds of young people to Laser Run through a fun, accessible and engaging format.
As part of the official UIPM Global Laser Run City Tour, Liverpool joins an international series of events designed to showcase Laser Run in major cities around the world.
Whether you are competing, supporting or experiencing Laser Run for the first time, this promises to be a standout event on the 2026 calendar.
