Pentathlon GB are delighted to confirm the list of athletes who have successfully qualified for the 2026 Great British Schools Biathlon Finals, taking place in March 2026.
The top scoring eligible competitors aged from year 3 to year 13, as well as their teachers, have been invited to enter Pentathlon GB’s flagship event taking place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd March 2026 at the University of Bath.
For this year’s event, all female competitors will compete on the Saturday and all male competitors will compete on the Sunday.

Entries for the Championships will open at 3pm on Monday 12th January to those on the ranking list via the Sport:80 platform, and will close at 23:59pm on Sunday 1st February 2026. All qualified competitors are invited to enter the finals via Sport:80 and should do so via the email invitation link from Sport:80. Competitors are reminded that they require a full individual membership to compete at a Pentathlon GB Championship event.
Pentathlon GB’s Events and Competitions’ team are working hard behind the scenes with Team Bath to finalise details for the event weekend. We will confirm further information, including scheduling and timetables in due course.
If you are unable to accept your place at the Finals in March, please decline your invite via the email from Sport:80 so that we can offer that place to the next athlete on the qualifying rankings list. Should a finals place become available, the next eligible athlete on the rankings list will be emailed the invitation to enter the event.
